While Denise Lynn physically lives in NW Ohio, her heart and soul resides here...in the Great Smoky Mountains. Someday she'll step out the door of her house and see a view something like this. For now, it's enough to know that refilling her soul's well is a quick seven hour trip south.

For their 25th wedding anniversary, her husband surprised her with a ceremony renewing their vows in...where else, but the mountains. There's nothing like being driven to a chapel in the mountains after hiking streams all morning!

But when the other half of your heart gets down on one knee and proposes, the dirt and grime surprisingly fade away. And that, my friend, is why Denise writes romance novels. It's a chance to share her love of love and romance with others. Her greatest hope is that she gives at least one reader a moment or two of romance, or memories, or even a chance to dream.

The road to this day hasn't been easy, but wonderful things usually aren't. Along the way Denise has filled boxes with rejection letters and manuscripts that she's now thankful never saw the light of day.

She was thrilled to find Romance Writers of America© and a whole group of like-minded writers--so thrilled she helped co-found the local chapter, Maumee Valley RWA, www.mvrwa.net.

Denise said, "The whirlwind roller coaster ride began with the first call from Kim Nadelson at Harlequin Historicals and hasn't stopped yet. Having an excuse to talk to myself and provide answers is wonderful. It's nice to have a legit excuse for my odd insanity. I'm happy to be writing for Harlequin and thrilled to have the chance to share my stories with readers."

Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to come back anytime!

In closing:

If you're an unpublished writer--don't ever give up the dream.

If you're published--thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us.

If you're a reader--bless you for letting me and all other authors into your mind, into your heart and into your dreams.
